The process of executive search involves a number of key elements designed to optimize the outcome and quality of a recruitment process.
1. Assessment & specifications
State of the Art Business Intelligence Tools and Assessment
Potential executive candidates will naturally be diverse in traits and characteristics. However, it is The Knight Group’s belief that sound candidates generally possess specific intrinsic characteristics and acquired traits that lead to long-term success in particular positions.

2. Search plan
Outlining the Strategy
The comprehensive interview process requires candidates to disclose specific examples of situations where desired characteristics have been displayed, and assesses the following:
- Ability to understand and adapt to organization cultures
- Position- and market-specific competencies (past, present and future)
- Behavioral competencies
We also utilize a proprietary software application that not only assesses the current candidate for the role but benchmarks them against other individuals that operate within the same market space (blind test.) The assessment tools help our firm better assess the candidates and highlight areas that may require additional exploration.
