Ray Knight- Executive Partner

Ray provides overall leadership and strategic direction for The Knight Group. He utilizes his knowledge and experience to improve the execution and performance standards of each search. Ray is a consummate business professional whose broad experience working with clients across many industries includes the private, public and non-profit sectors. 

Prior to founding The Knight Group, Ray Knight was a managing director at two boutique executive search firms, where he was the leader of firm’s Health Care and Diversity practices. Ray served as the chief operating officer for Genuine Wellness Inc., and Chief Information Officer and a senior strategist for the State of Illinois. His career in financial services has included business development, marketing and analysis with two global investment banks and an international hedge fund.

Ray was awarded an M.A. in Public Policy/Finance from the University of Chicago. He earned his B.A. degree in Economics from Oberlin College and was also a commissioned officer in the United States Army.
